Burial Park: The rising music stars to look out for in 2018

Watch out for Burial Park this new year—they’re about to become a force to be reckoned with in 2018. One of our favorite hard rock bands Burial Park knows how to impress with their great instrumentals, vocal skills and unforgettable choruses. Formed in 2008 in New York the band is comprised of vocalist Rich Rampage, guitarist Giorgio LaCorte, guitarist John Keane, bassist Jesse Colliton and drummer Dave Colliton.

“We make music that satisfies our passion for our art and hope to translate and connect with our audience. We are a hard rock/metal band that mixes catchy heavy guitar riffs with emotionally driven lyrics.  Distorted, clean, sung or screamed,” said Burial Park in an interview for NY Elite Magazine.

Burial Park has maintained an authentic sound and style and is popular for their live performances. Their first big sold-out show was at The Studio at Webster Hall Studio in NYC. Later that year, B.P. entered a Battle of the Bands contest for a chance to play at the Mayhem Festival, coming in at 2nd place.

Burial Park became renowned and their reputation grew with the release of the three song EP in 2013 as a preview of their twelve-song album. On 27 July 2013, Burial Park released their self-titled debut album  following a concert at Santos Party House in NYC with metal band Straight Line Stitch on the same day.

On November 11, 2017 Burial Park released their first single “Horror Heart” under Beat Author Records. Their next single “The Phantom” is set to be released on December 16, 2017.

Currently, Burial Park is in the process of writing and recording their first full length album under the Beat Author Record label.

“We love it. Our writing process is an enjoyable experience, usually having the band running with one of Giorgio’s riffs, and later, Rich adds lyrics and melodies. To boot, we all have complete respect for each-other’s opinions and criticisms. Our goal is always to write the best song as possible, of coarse, but in the end, we feel a responsibility for the output we produce and we take it very seriously,” said Burial Park.

We can’t wait to see what Burial Part has in store for this new year.
