Director Mrika Krasniqi of Nil Production has announced that she will return to the director’s chair in 2018 with “Proof”. The feature film is a production of Nil Production film company, written, directed and produced by Mrika Krasniqi.
What makes this upcoming project one to watch is its visionary director Mrika Krasniqi, winner of “Women of the Year 2016” by US Congress and “Best Human Artist 2015” by the European Community of Jewish Artists in Paris, France. Mrika Krasniqi is also awarded “Ambassador for Peace” by the Universal Peace Federation.
Krasniqi’s films and documentaries have screened around the world, winning many awards including “Best Social Documentary” in NYIFF, “Best Historical Documentary” in Los Angeles Film Festival, “Best Production” in New Poland Film Festival, and “Best Director” at the DOCU Independent in Freiburg, Germany.
“I just finished directing the movie “Proof” which we hope to release soon. Being the writer of the script helped me look at the bigger picture when directing each scene. Mrika Krasniqi has teamed up with the talented Ibër Deari, as Director of Photography for the project. Director, writer, producer, DOP Ibër Deari is known for his award-winning movies such as, My City Screams (2015), TOKA (2016), A long way Home (2017). Ibër Deari’s film “Toka” won “Best Short Film” and “Best Director” at AFW in New York. “A Long Way Home” won “Best Director” and “Best Short Film” in Macedonia.
The film “Proof” is dedicated to the 20,000 children of Kosova whose parents were killed during the war in 1999. It is a feature length film psychological drama produced by Nil Production.
